Contributions to the general fund provides a valuable source of unrestricted support that impacts every aspect of the mission of Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. These gifts ensure that there will always be a safe place for families in our community. However, there are a variety of other ways to support Women In Distress and we welcome your involvement on all levels.
Whether your support comes from a direct donation or others ways including planning an event to benefit Women In Distress, donating your car, shopping at Blooming Sales Thrift Store, organizing a Cell Phone Drive, or donating your used cell phone, each way to support Women In Distress is helping save a family who has been affected by domestic violence. Thank you for choosing to make a difference in the lives of so many served at Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc.
Donation Drives
Organizing a donation drive is one of the easiest ways to support Women In Distress of Broward County, Inc. Gather your family, friends, scout troop, association, or office to collect needed items for Women In Distress. Women In Distress shelters more than 400 women and children each year and serves an additional 700+ for outreach services at our Jim and Jan Moran Family Center in Fort Lauderdale.
